URGC SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS ARE AIMED AT INCREASING LIFE CHANCES OF REFUGEES & CUTTING FOOD AID COSTS & SERVICE COSTS TO HELP THE AID RELIEF AGENCIES
The issues of providing sustainable long term green solutions for refugees has not been an easy task for UN Agencies & other Aid Relief Agencies.
It was important for all of us to re-assess the good and commendable work of UNRWA, UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP & WHO over the past 20 years. The world refugee crisis has changed dramatically and has never been as high as it is today with 54 million refugees/displaced people worldwide. Because of the increase of refugees UN Agencies are naturally strained to accommodate, support and sustain the continual on-flow of refugees. The past support systems and actions of UN Agency are having to be re-thought to meet and provide for today's ever changing and unstable refugee crisis.
The URGC recognizes the effortless and commendable work of UN Agencies and the pressures they face to save lives on a daily basis and it is on this need that the URGC has focused on assessing existing support services over the past 20 years provided by the UN Agencies and looked at how better the URGC can assist the UN Agencies & other Aid Relief Agencies in meeting their goals and on this point the URGC applied its services in assessing, consulting private organisations in introducing new sustainable green solutions that assist UN Agencies in applying greener and more efficient and productive support services and programs that help the UN Agencies achieve their humanitarian goals.
We have applied our assessment and consultations to proposed green projects from the organisations listed below who have been approved as green service providers of support structures and sustainable green project proposals which assist in increasing life chances, restoring human rights, applying protection structures, meet URGC & UN Agency mission standards and apply sustainable green development. All the organisations below are further guided on all green issues and refugee needs.
