URGC primary purpose is to assist in finding solutions to displacement and poverty issues, by offering realistic, long term, sustainable and stable solutions to governments and aid agencies, in the settlement and resettlement, reducing migration,security and safety, health, education, water-security, electricity supply, sanitation, food-security, creating jobs/socio-economic development, safeguard of the human rights and well-being of refugees, and in general to guide and or assist by promoting sustainable and stable solutions that increase quality of life and life chances.
The Mission of the United Refugee Green Council (URGC) shall be to:
a. Facilitate the creation of cooperative networks and apply assessment and consultation to bring about economic green development programs that will increase life chances of refugees, restore human rights and create sustainable development programs that are suited to be applied by Aid Agencies to refugees, assisting Aid Agencies in the capacity and need required by Aid Agencies. We achieve this via listing and involving financial institutions, traditional and alternative energy producers, private enterprises, diplomatic representations, universities, governmental bodies and other concerned parties all sharing a common humanitarian interest.
b. Apply studies, assessments, consultation to governments and aid agencies and Government programs and or support systems and give consultation in modifying and or creating new sustainable and stable cost effective, efficient green support systems and or programs that -
- Increase life chances of displaced people
- Increase security, safety and protection of vulnerable children and females
- Increase security, safety and protection of Aid Agency humanitarian and voluntary workers
- Cuts cost to Aid Agencies, Governments and apply greener work structure, environment and practices
- Help increase efficiency and productivity of Aid Agencies
- Provide green training programs to Aid Agencies staff/humanitarian and voluntary workers
- Provide sustainable reusable green emergency response housing solutions
- Provide sustainable green permanent housing solutions
- Provide the network of green approach organisations that can apply a green emergency response quick life saving green construction of housing and infrastructure which assures safety and protection, restores human rights, reduces risk of disease, provides clean water, sanitation, health, education and better management for Aid Agencies which can cut cost up 90%
- Provide sustainable green solutions for clean drinking water, sanitation and green electricity solutions
- Provide sustainable green solutions for green energy supply
- Provide sustainable green solutions for health centers, education for children and adults
- Provide holistic green housing and infrastructure planning of refugee camps which creates a sustainable and developing holistic green community
- Provide sustainable green solutions for green socio-economic infrastructure that leads to actual jobs, vocational training and further development
- Provide sustainable green solutions for local food produce that meets the nutritional food requirement of local refugee community sustenance needs
- Provide environmental studies, assessments, impacts of displacement v environment with green support systems and programs to restore equilibrium
- Provide sustainable systems that restores and maintains human rights to displaced people
- Provide bespoke services to each sector of displaced populations that promotes development
- Provide educational structures from primary to secondary level which meet criteria, standards and approval of Ministry of Education of hosting country
- Provide vocational training programs to adults that can be placed into sustainable work/jobs within their community
- Provide training to trainers
- Provide studies, assessments, consultation and support systems to matters of peace talks and resolution
- Provide sustainable green solutions to restructure refugee camps so as to reduce crime, disease, internal conflict and create better efficient support systems to Refugee Agencies
- Report upon any human rights violation towards refugees
- Report upon human trafficking and sex slavery and other human rights violations against refugee children and woman within refugee camps
- Where possible; provide sustainable economic green support systems and programs to help refugees to remove themselves from displacement and return back to their homes
- Applying services in assisting Aid Agencies and Governments in increasing life chances, restoring human rights, protection of children and females and applying green sustainable development support systems that help refugees develop and remove themselves from displacement, is the foundation of our mission
- URGC to formulate sustainable solutions to help resolve housing, sanitation, food-security, health, education, human rights, security, socio-economic issues and other related issued that bring about and lead to instability, migration and displacement
c. Place and promote human rights on the forefront of all we do, apply support systems that promote peace, gender equality, health, equality, economic development and educational access, socio-economic infrastructure, green housing solutions, awareness regarding the rights of women, children and youth in developing nations and in refugee crisis situations.
d. Broaden the understanding of sustainable socio- economic development and promote the implementation and dissemination of norms, rules and guidelines that apply to this field as well as assess past and existing socio-economic infrastructure and apply sustainable socio-economic green infrastructure that benefits refugees directly and Aid Agencies
e. Promote URGC mission and services as well as voice/report on past and present refugee crisis and issues on lack of human rights, human rights violations, housing, food, water, sanitation, power supply, clothing, health, education, human trafficking, child and female abuse, other crimes by or against refugees, development, socio-economic structures or lack off and give a green expression on improving lives of refugees and expression on improvements that can be made by service/support providers. Promoted and expressed through our networks and through our Honorable and Esteemed URGC Ambassadors.
f. Develop, establish, promote, work closely and maintain ‘Sister’ relationships with private organisations and government agencies and Aid Agencies for the mutual mission of applying sustainable solutions that increase the life chances of displaced people and vulnerable displaced people, child protection, restoring human rights, creating sustainable green support programs for emergency green housing, permanent green housing, clean water supply, sanitation, electricity, health facilities, educational facilities, vocational facilities for adult learning/training, social and recreational facilities, environmental and ecological impact, local food produce and general socio-economic infrastructure
g. Work in line with Aid Agencies and Governments to help provide realistic economical holistic green support systems that help benefit Aid Agencies by helping Aid Agencies cut costs, create safer and more secure environments for Aid humanitarian voluntary staff/workers, increase efficiency of Aid Agencies through our developed support projects, apply all we do at increasing life chances, restoring human rights, protection, health, education and development of refugees.
h. Help establish tools that better support and allow Aid Agencies and governments to better apply their services in a green economic and efficient structure.
In order to accomplish the foregoing objectives, the URGC may engage in the following types of activities:
a. Develop networks globally in the sphere of economic, ecological, educational, health, socio-economic and bioethical reflection and actions;
b. Establish, collect, maintain and share Statistical and Demographic Data and Information with UN Agencies and governments
c. Provide advice, guidance, direct action and support in regards to issues pertaining to the field of maintaining and restoring of human rights instruments, sustainable green development and safety of vulnerable displaced people
d. Organize and facilitate meetings with Aid Agencies and Governments and hold conferences, seminars and educational programs dealing with all matters herein mentioned in our mission and to collaborate and cooperate with Aid Agencies and governments for the purpose herein stated
e. Engage in other activities related to the furthering or obtaining the goals, objectives and Mission of the Organization, as the need arises.
f. Offer our assistance to Aid Agencies and Governments and private institutions/organisations, sharing a common goal.
g. The UN General Assembly have authorized involvement with other groups. These include former refugees who have returned to their homeland; internally displaced persons; and people who are stateless or whose nationality is disputed and involvement with organisations such as URGC that can assist in formulating sustainable solutions that may assist in UN Agencies goals/mission
h. The URGC seeks to reduce situations of forced displacement by encouraging states and other institutions to create conditions which are conducive to the protection of human rights and the peaceful resolution of disputes. In all our activities, we pay particular close attention to the needs of vulnerable children and seeks to promote the equal rights of women and girls.
i. The URGC offers its service to work in partnership or as part of UN Agencies and governments, regional organizations, international and non-governmental organizations, if invited to do so. We are committed to the principle of participation, believing that refugees/displaced people and others who benefit from the organization's activities should be consulted and involved over decisions which affect their lives and future.
URGC is united via its URGC Ambassadors in 160 countries who all act on a voluntary basis in respect to the URGC Mission
Each URGC Ambassador applies humanitarian intervention towards refugees/displaced people in his/her region and country via lobbying to central and local government, Aid Agencies to meet the immediate and sustainable future needs of refugees so as to help increase their life chances and helping to create housing, water, sanitation, green power supply, jobs, agriculture, education, health and socioeconomic development and restoring human rights and women equality.
